Popcorn

Ingredients:
1⁄2 cup unpopped popcorn
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1⁄2 teaspoon salt, or to taste

Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the unpopped popcorn and oil. Stir to coat kernels.
2. Pour the coated corn into a brown paper lunch sack.
3. Fold the top of the bag over several times to hold in the popped kernels.
4. Microwave at full power for 2 1⁄2 to 3 minutes. Popping will begin in a few minutes. When the
popping begins to slow, listen until you hear the popping slow to about 2 seconds between
pops.
5. Remove the bag immediately from the microwave and carefully open the bag away from your
face to avoid steam.
6. Pour into a serving bowl. Salt to taste.
Yield: 3 servings.
